Elementary students at Lancaster Baptist School showed their love to others last week, but not just with Valentine’s grams. LBS students in the third through sixth grades wrote letters to several LBS graduates who are now serving our country in Afghanistan. May we also remember those who daily sacrifice and serve to keep our nation free and our liberties preserved. The United States soldiers, airman, marines, and sailors are America’s real heroes! May we always remember that the freedoms we so cherish as a nation have come at a very high price. As we daily pray for our troops, let us never forget their sacrifice, their devotion, and their valor. If you have not thanked an active duty military person or a veteran lately, we encourage you to take time today to send an encouraging letter or note of appreciation to them.
